HIRE THE PANACHE ORCHESTRA FOR YOUR WEDDING OR SPECIAL EVENT
|
Some TPO pieces that are especially nice for weddings
|
When to Hire TPO:
- When you want the refined elegance and sophistication of a classical
string chamber ensemble, but want a more updated and current sound
- When you want to wow your guests with your impeccable musical taste and
introduce them to something new that they will really enjoy
- When you want something that is unique and cutting edge, but is still
readily accessible to a wide range of tastes and preferences
- When you need a transparent sound backdrop for when the focus is on
something other than the music so your guests or presenter won't have to
shout over a loud, amplified band
- When you don't want the same old thing, but aren't quite sure of what
you do want

The Panache Orchestra, an international touring violin/guitar duo
hailing from Tokyo, Japan and currently based in Los Angeles,
California, provides a dramatically different live music experience from
what everyone is used to. While popular music is overwhelmingly
singer-songwriter-driven and based on a standard 12 bar blues chord
structure, The Panache Orchestra in their present acoustic instrumental
duo format has the sophistication of a classical string chamber ensemble
with the charisma, current sound and accessibility of a pop band.
Audience feedback consistently indicates that their image-evocative
music has a strongly uplifting, healing vibe, and they are typically
described in superlatives. Quotes from enthusiastic fans and clients
include the following:
"You guys were INCREDIBLE!! Your music was all people could talk about!"
"You guys were
AMAZING! The sound and performance was not only moving, but also
inspirational! Truly, great work."
"Brenda
& Saito-san are incredible musical performers. Their blended notes
and creative weaving in & out of each others music is just something
you've got to hear for yourself. It really takes your breath away...."
"You two add another dimension to music for me. It
is so soothing and beautiful to watch both of you put your whole heart
into it - I can easily get lost and enjoy the moment for all that it
is."
They perform their own all-original cross-genre instrumental
compositions that have a distinctly transcontinental tone. One might
describe their unusual sound as "bringing classical sensibilities out of the ivory tower and down into the street". Their several hours’ worth of
original repertoire falls predominantly into the World Fusion,
Meditative/Easy Listening and Crossover Classical musical genres and
while they have an ever-growing number of pieces that make for an
exciting, high energy festival or concert appearance, much of their
music is ideal for settings where a calm, serene ambiance is desired.
Their
impressive resume includes appearances at the Los Angeles County Museum
of Art (LACMA) ArtWalk, Cherry Blossom Festival of Southern California
(listed in AAA’s “Five Worth the Drive” top picks for So.Cal. annual
events), a celebrity gala held at Skirball Cultural Center in Los
Angeles, A symposium presented by the Arts and Media Node of the
UN-sponsored Millenium Project, Oiso Jazz Festival (Tokyo area, Japan),
and many others.
Both members have decades of performance
experience and are members of AFM Local 47 and ASCAP.
It should
be noted that The Panache Orchestra is NOT a typical "corporate
band". We perform exclusively our own original music, and it's all
instrumental (i.e., no vocals at all). If there is a favorite piece that
you absolutely want played during your special event, we can create a
custom instrumental version of it under a pre-arranged agreement. We are
not a "dance band" or "party band", although that has never stopped
people from dancing to our music.
Music of The Panache Orchestra is especially appropriate for weddings
during the:
ceremony: prelude, processional, interlude(s),
recessional Other: rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, reception
dinner
